#WhyWednesday: Asra Muhammadi
We are thrilled to continue our #WhyWednesday series with Asra Muhammadi!
#WhyWednesday is a weekly feature of a leader that is involved in our organization. A “why” is the reason they decided to become involved with Female Strong, what female empowerment and leadership mean to them, or why they do what they do.
Asra Muhammadi is an investment banking analyst at William Blair. Previously, she was a member of Middlebury College Consulting Group, investor of Middlebury College Student Investment Committee, and Board Member of Middlebury College Activities Board. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College.
Asra has volunteered for the World Association for Girl Guides and Girls Scouts as well as the Gizri School in Pakistan. At Female Strong, she is a board member on the Young Professionals Board.
Asra is also one of the founding members of the new Young Professionals Board at Female Strong. Their inaugural event, Level Up Your Network, is a virtual event for young female professionals who want to intentionally build relationships with those at similar stages in their careers.
What is Your “Why,” Asra?
I became involved in the YPB to ensure that female young professionals have a support system of like-minded peers and / or mentors along every step of their careers.
