The Young Professionals Program connects Chicago adults passionate about Female Strong’s mission through events and volunteer opportunities.

About

The Young Professionals Program acts as an arm of the Female Strong organization while offering young professionals in Chicago the ability to get involved in volunteer opportunities, grow their network, build leadership skills, and be part of a meaningful community. The Young Professionals Committee leads networking, social, and fundraising events to foster a community of togetherness and in service of programming for middle and high school girls.

Our Mission

To create better opportunities for middle and high school girls by providing access to tools, experiences, and resources needed to achieve their dreams and help close the gender gap.

Our Impact

Each year, we host a variety of professional development, networking, and social events with amazing sponsors. Together, the Young Professionals Program has championed the way in raising more than $60,000 has been raised for Female Strong to date! So much more to come in 2024!

SPONSOR AND/OR HOST AN EVENT

In addition to our annual spring and fall programming, we are always looking for event hosts and sponsors who want to bring professionals together in support of Female Strong’s mission. VOLUNTEER WITH US

  • Female Strong Camp Facilitators (Multiple Dates, Summer 2024, IN PERSON): Provide hands on support with middle & high school girls
  • Youth Book Club Facilitators (Multiple Dates Throughout 2024, VIRTUAL): Facilitate book club meetings with middle & high school girls
  • Business Plan Reviewers (February, VIRTUAL): Provide the 2025 YEA! class with feedback on their business plan ahead of the Investor Panel
  • YEA! Investor Panel (Winter/Spring 2025, IN PERSON): General on-site event support
  • CEO Roundtable (Winter/Spring 2025, IN PERSON): General on-site event support
  • Female Strong Golf Outing (Spring/Summer 2025, IN PERSON): General on-site event support
