Join us in our mission to help girls and young women realize their capabilities in business and gain confidence to step into anything.  Your dollars go directly to help local young women in the Chicago area build confidence and become future business leaders. 

 

We are growing as an organization.  In 2019 we served 14 girls, in 2020 we served 130 girls and we are set to exceed 200+ girls in 2021.  We serve a diverse group of girls from all over Chicagoland and due to Covid we have been able to expand our reach virtually across the United States.

 

We run a very tight ship at Female Strong and rely heavily on our volunteers, donors and sponsors.  We do not have office space and we are able to provide all of our services with only 1.5 paid staff members.  You can be assured that 100% of your contributions are directly going to support the girls.  

Here are some examples of what your donations support: 

  • $50 Provides 2 girls with books for our book groups
  • $75 Provides scholarships for 5 girls to attend a workshop
  • $200 Provides a scholarship for one girl to attend IDEA Camp.  
  • $150 Provides a meal for our YEA! girls 
  • $348 Provides a partial scholarship for one girl to attend the YEA! Program
  • $695 Provides a full scholarship for one girl to attend the YEA! Program
  • $2,500 Covers the entire cost for one girl to attend the YEA! program for the year
