AdWeek just announced that Instagram Business will be kicking off Women’s History Month with a new video series titled TogetHER. The series highlights the amazing stories of inspirational women entrepreneurs and how Instagram for Business shaped the way they operated their businesses.
The three installments feature:
Simileoluwaa “Simi” Adebajo – a Nigerian woman who opened the first Nigerian restaurant in San Francisco – @ekokitchensf
Ketty Valencio – the owner of an Afro-Brazilian bookstore called Livraria Africanidades located in Brazil celebrating Black literature and writing – @livrariafricanidades
Lovern J. Gordon – the founder of the Love Life Now Foundation. A foundation providing support to women victims of domestic violence – @lovelifenowfound
The videos will be featured on @instagramforbusiness and the Instagram for Business Blog.
We can also look forward to a guide from Instagram next month that will provide resources for businesses owned by women.
