Female Strong $150K Program Expansion Campaign 2020
Our goal of raising $150K will allow us to add additional programming and expand the number of girls we serve by 300%.
The goal of this campaign is to support the following:
- Expanding the YEA! program into the public-school system. One site is targeted to launch the Fall of 2021 ($50K) – 30 girls
- Adding one additional YEA! after school program to start Fall 2021 ($50K) 25 girls
- Launching an immersive summer programming in 2021 for our girls that will allow them to work hands on in local businesses while concurrently receiving confidence building training. The target audience for this are Juniors and Seniors in high school. Since these girls need to work in the summer, we would provide them a stipend to participate. ($25K) 25 girls
- Launching our Student Ambassador program for graduates of the YEA! program. This will provide ongoing support to our students and allow them to amplify their voices to facilitate change. ($5K) 20 girls
- Launching our quarterly Strong Stories series to support our growing Female Strong community. This active group is hungry for inspiration, collaboration and connections that support their leadership development and the leadership development of our aspiring girls. This group will help to advocate for change in the inequities that exist for women in the workplace today. ($10K) 200 young professionals
- Marketing and PR Support to help us expand our voice. ($10K)
