Female Strong co-founder, Emily Smith, and YEA! graduate, Aria Fifer, were featured on Fox 32 Chicago yesterday morning.
Fox 32 Chicago highlighted our Young Entrepreneur’s Academy 24-week program that allows young girls to build a business from start to finish. At the conclusion of the program, our girls participate in the Investor Panel – a Shark Tank style bid for real startup money.
Aria is a YEA! Investor Panel finalist. Her business is a two-way mentorship program for students who want to learn Spanish and English. She connects high school students who speak English fluently who are looking to practice their Spanish with high school students who speak Spanish fluently who are looking to practice their English.
Aria’s mother, Tara, has seen a huge growth in Aria’s confidence and skillset after completing the YEA! program.
