The Investor Panel is the highlight of our YEA! year and it has finally arrived! Our YEA! girls had an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of business leaders with the possibility of receiving startup funding for their businesses, and our 13 students succeeded in flying colors!
We had an amazing evening and are endlessly grateful to all that joined us! For those that couldn’t attend, we will release professional videography from the evening on YouTube. Even if you couldn’t join this year, you will be able to see each girl pitch their business idea with the possibility to tap into a $15K + pool of seed funding.
While the panelists deliberated to determine the seed funding amounts and the winner competing at the YEA! National Saunders Competition, the viewer’s choice award was voted on by all the guests.
2023 YEA! Rewards
Mikayla Clark
In First Place, Mikayla Clark and her business Kulture Snacks were awarded $3,000.00 and she will be going to nationals for the YEA! National Saunders Competition.
Giulianna Garcia
In second place, Giulianna Garcia and her business Oasis Jewelry were awarded $2,000.00
Jordyn Feliciano
Jordyn Feliciano and her business Jor More Slime were awarded $1,000.00, and she will be receiving an order for Female Strong camps.
Maya Depies
Maya Depies and her business Cosmic Beauty were awarded $750.00, and she also was awarded an NSLC Ivy League summer camp scholarship.
Zoya Muzammil
Maya Depies and her business Elixir were awarded $750.00, and she also was awarded an NSLC Ivy League summer camp scholarship.
Kendall Luellen
Kendall Luellen and her business Family Report Card Game were awarded $750.00, and she will be receiving an order for 25 Family Report Card Games.
Elizabeth Grace Sharp
Elizabeth Grace Sharp and her business A Piece of Grace were awarded $500.00, and she will be receiving a $400 cookie order for Female Strong camps.
Morgan Tillis
Morgan Tillis and her business Creative Coverings were awarded $500.00, and she will be receiving a $956.14 T-shirt order for Female Strong camps.
