What Does Female Strong Mean to You?
Every girl is born with the innate characteristic of female strength. Environments that nurture and hone this strength can unlock unbounded potential. While living in Tanzania, I befriended a handful of independent seamstresses who banded together instead of competing with one another. In recognizing the power of community, the women broadened their reach further than they ever could have individually. At Female Strong, empowering women is at the center of everything we do. We inspire young girls to become confident leaders in their personal and professional lives. Our programs offer a safe place for girls to collaborate with peers and mentors as they discover who they are, what they care about, and what they have to offer.
