What Does Female Strong Mean to You?
There were so many times in my early career when I was the only female around the table. It didn’t bother me from the standpoint of holding my own, but it did make me think “why”? Often women compete with each other for roles and positions within organizations and communities, but my goal was to rally around other women to become the community. Fostering an environment of equality and support is critical to our future as women leaders and Female Strong allows young girls and females the opportunity to kick this mindset off very early in their journey. Seeing and being the change for a more diverse set of minds at the table and equal compensation for the work is a must. Lifting each other up and cheering each others success comes along for the ride!
