Open to all that support our mission, YEA! Students and their families. Come learn about YEA! and Female Strong, host a COVID- friendly watch party, vote for the YEA! student that should win the People’s Choice Award, win a trip and much more!!
WHAT?
The culmination of our YEA! Class. Our girls have an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of business leaders with the possibility of receiving startup funding for their businesses. They will be competing for $9K+ in seed funding and the winner will go on to the National YEA! Saunders Competition.
You will not want to miss this event! We encourage you to bring your family, friends, daughters or any girls that you think may be interested in learning more about the YEA! program.
We have secured Whitney Reynolds, host and EP Nominated for the Whitney Reynolds Show on PBS and Amazon Prime, Your Story Matters to MC the evening.
At the end of the evening, we will announce the seed funding amounts that they girls receive, determine who will go on to the National YEA! Saunders Competition, announce our People’s Choice Award and Raffle winner!!

In addition to seeing our YEA! girls compete, we will be zooming in to our COVID Friendly Watch Parties that you may be hosting, you will have a chance to vote for the YEA! student that you think should win the People’s Choice Award, have a chance to win the raffle to a tropical getaway, grab some Female Strong Apparel and much more!!

Meet Gizlangba Gbor - the Winner of our 2020 YEA! Investor Panel
Gizangba Gbor graduated from the Young Entrepreneur’s Academy (YEA!) Chicago in 2020. She founded Margaret’s Child to help kids learn how to take care of their hair and avoid a lifetime of “bad hair days.” Her inspiration for her business was based on her own experiences in the foster care system.
